Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation in Jefferson City, Missouri is seeking a Charge Nurse for the Day Shift (LPN/RN). The Baylor Program requires two consecutive 12‑hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with pay for 32 hours plus an extra $5 per hour on weekends.

As Charge Nurse, you will lead by example and provide exceptional patient care, overseeing daily operations, staffing, and care plan development.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and assigning tasks to team members
• Develops and implements patient care plans in conjunction with the healthcare team
• Monitors patient progress, identifies areas for improvement, and adjusts care plans as needed
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce complications
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment
