The Charge Nurse role provides medical assistance and guidance to the physically and mentally ill. They are responsible for the care and well-being of the patients and the maintenance of quarters and supervises the work programs and activities of a staff of nurses providing care to patients in an assigned area; does related work as required. EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of experience as a registered nurse in a hospital or other institution, clinic, or medical center.
LICENSE: Must be a Registered nurse in the State of New Jersey. Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
SPECIAL NOTE: Appointee must possess the ability to physically lift, move, and position clients as needed.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
All new hires are expected to attend a mandatory three-week orientation on the day shift.
Drug test is required within 72 hours of offer and must be paid at your own expense.
