Location: Hybrid and Remote work options available across most North America locations.

We are looking for an experienced Character Review Artist to join the Skate team. You will report to the External Development Director.

Responsibilities:

Your role:

  1. Collaborate with External Development Team to provide feedback to Service Providers.
  2. Partner with other disciplines to understand tasks and scope of work for Service Providers.
  3. Follow the established processes for giving feedback and reporting on reoccurring issues to ensure that we provide feedback with quick turn around back to the vendor.
  4. Identify reoccurring issues in content submissions, and provide supplementary documentation for successful partnerships.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  1. Experienced in human anatomy, character design, and modelling techniques using Maya, Zbrush, and Substance Painter.
  2. Understands the challenges of working with an external team, and how to resolve them.
Qualifications:
  1. 3+ years of experience in full cycle development.
  2. 3+ years game development experience as a character artist.
  3. Firm understanding of up-to-date character art workflows.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
  1. California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $103,200 - $145,600 USD Annually
  2. New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): $92,600 - $145,600 USD Annually
  3. Jersey City, NJ: $117,300 - $145,600 USD Annually
  4. Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): $111,800 - $151,800 USD Annually
  5. Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): $92,600 - $135,600 USD Annually
  6. British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time. In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
