Qualifications

• Four clinical pastoral education units.
• Within 3 years of hire: National Chaplain Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and competent spiritual care ministry in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Serve the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others as a member of the healthcare team.
• Implement the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility.

Job description

Chaplain - Spiritual Care at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is per-diem and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, polices, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve.
