This Chaplain role is a clinical service for the pediatric palliative care unit, providing last rites, end of life support and family services during profoundly challenging life events for our pediatric patients and families, located in our Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience providing spiritual care in a clinical hospital setting, as well as experience with end-of-life, trauma, or bereavement. Must have a master’s degree from an accredited theological seminary along with completion of 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education. It is highly preferred that the Chaplain be certified by the Board of Chaplaincy Certification Inc. (BCCI) through the Association of Professional Chaplains, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or a similar group. This position is part-time, 20 hours per week.
