Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Chaplain Non-Certified to provide spiritual guidance and pastoral care to patients and their families. Working under supervision, you will integrate psychology, religion, spirituality, and theology to support people of diverse faiths.

You will perform visitations, assess needs, document notes for staff, and collaborate with clergy and chaplains. This role also extends emotional support to staff and maintains community resource lists.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Divinity from an accredited seminary or equivalent is required.
• Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent are required.

Aufgaben

• Performs spiritual care visitations to patients to provide consistent spiritual and emotional care.
• Assesses spiritual needs and provides consultation to patients, families and caregivers in a timely and supportive manner.
• Writes up notes for the medical staff and makes recommendations to help improve the patient's mindset and emotional comfort.
• Contacts clergy or spiritual counselors to assist in spiritual care of patients and family members upon request.
• Provides emotional and spiritual support to Cone Health employees.
• Maintains working list of local community resources for spiritual and religious supportive services.
• Participates in hospital committees and interdisciplinary efforts as requested or assigned in support of the vision and mission of the Spiritual Care and Counseling Department.
• Provides consultation and offers educational presentations in support of the Clinical Pastoral Education Program and Employee Assistance Counseling Program as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
