Job summary

Shalom Hospice in the United States seeks a Chaplain/Bereavement Coordinator to provide spiritual support and bereavement counseling to patients and families in a hospice setting. This is a FULL_TIME, on-site role focused on compassionate care.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop bereavement programs, conduct memorial services, and maintain accurate records while staying current with best practices in spiritual care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chaplain or Bereavement Coordinator.
• Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of spiritual care and bereavement counseling theories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Provide spiritual support and counseling to patients and their families, including chaplaincy services, bereavement counseling, and spiritual assessments.
