The Hong Kong Study Skills Research Institute is seeking a Chaplain to provide spiritual support and counseling to patients and staff in Santa Clara, California. This role involves daily interaction with the interdisciplinary team to address patient needs and ensure accreditation compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate theological degree and have experience in cultural competency. Responsibilities include documenting support in patient records and conducting services as needed.
To provide spiritual support and counseling to hospital patients, families and staff in a culturally competent manner. The chaplain is a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team and participates in patient care planning, documenting all pertinent interventions in the patient care record.

Education: Graduate theological degree (or equivalent graduate degree) from an accredited institution. Four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) completed.
License, Certification, Registration: Certification or certification-eligible with College of Pastoral Supervision & Psychotherapy Certification or Board Certified Chaplain Certification from Association of Professional Chaplains or National Association of Catholic Chaplains Certification or National Association of Jewish Chaplains Certified Member. Ordainment/Endorsement of a recognized religious/spiritual body.
