Job summary

Paychex is seeking an early-career sales professional to grow our channel via referrals and outbound outreach. You will build trusted relationships with CPAs and clients, driving new logos and expanding a full payroll/HR solutions portfolio.

Expect high activity, short sales cycles, and a fast-paced environment that rewards performance. You will manage the pipeline from prospecting to closing, collaborating with partners, and leveraging referrals to accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in sales/marketing or related role.
• Comfort with high activity, fast cycles, and achieving quotas or goals.

Responsibilities

• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals.

Responsibilities

What It Takes to Win

• Early-career sales professionals with 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• Comfort with high activity, fast cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
• Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation.
• Coachability and ability to quickly apply feedback.
• Experience working toward goals or quotas (sales or similar environments) and demonstrated leadership experience—whether through work, school, nonprofits, fraternities/sororities, clubs, or other organizations (for example, serving as a treasurer, team lead, or project lead).
