Job summary

Paychex in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Channel Sales professional to generate new business through referral partners and outreach, building relationships with CPAs and clients. You’ll manage a fast-paced sales cycle and sell payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance solutions.

We’re looking for candidates with 1–5 years of relevant sales experience; a valid driver’s license is required. This role offers uncapped earning potential and strong growth opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners.
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals.

You’ll work with businesses of 1–99 employees—the entrepreneurs powering local economies—helping them succeed with essential HR, payroll, and compliance solutions. Through trusted partners like CPAs and client referrals, you won’t just sell—you’ll build relationships, unlock opportunities, and make a real impact. What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
