Job summary

Paychex is recruiting for a Channel Sales professional who helps small businesses access payroll, HR, benefits, and compliance solutions. You’ll partner with CPAs and referrals to unlock new opportunities.

In a high-activity environment, you’ll manage a fast sales cycle, nurture relationships, and own the process from prospecting to closing.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in relevant sales capacity.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• H.S. Diploma required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach.

• Execute high-volume daily activity (calls, follow-ups, and partner touchpoints) to build pipeline.
• Sell a full suite of payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance solutions.
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1-2 weeks) with small business owners.
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals.

Through trusted partners like CPAs and client referrals, you won’t just sell—you’ll build relationships, unlock opportunities, and make a real impact. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is typically between $55,000 - $90,000. This range includes base pay plus commission but does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
