Job summary

Paychex in New Orleans is seeking an early-career Channel Sales professional to generate new business through referrals and outbound outreach. You will build relationships with bankers and clients to drive new logos, while managing a fast-paced pipeline and a full suite of payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance solutions.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of relevant sales/marketing experience, comfort with high activity, and a track record of working toward goals.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
• Build relationships with bankers and existing clients to drive new logos
• Execute high-volume daily activity (calls, follow-ups, and partner touchpoints) to build pipeline
• Sell a full suite of solutions: payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners

• Experience working toward goals or quotas (sales or similar environments) and demonstrated leadership experience—whether through work, school, nonprofits, fraternities/sororities, clubs, or other organizations (for example, serving as a treasurer, team lead, or project lead)
