Job summary

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) in New York seeks an intermediary channel marketing leader to drive campaigns and partner with Sales and product marketing. Manage programs for broker-dealers, RIAs, wirehouses and banks. Lead briefs, multi-channel execution, and education initiatives for advisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8 years of marketing experience within asset management or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing programs for intermediary distribution channels, including broker-dealers, RIAs, wirehouses, and banks.
  • Strong understanding of intermediary sales and marketing dynamics, advisor engagement strategies, and channel-based marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute intermediary channel marketing initiatives and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership and product marketing to translate business objectives into effective intermediary marketing strategies and deliverables.
  • Write proposal briefs and project manage channel marketing deliverables from concept through execution, partnering with creative, editorial, digital, legal, compliance, and production teams.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across digital, email, content, social, and event channels to drive awareness, engagement, and demand among financial advisors.
  • Work with events team for marketing promotion of sales-driven and firm-driven in-person and virtual events and conferences.
  • Develop campaign measurement and reporting frameworks to evaluate effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities with KPI metrics.
  • Build relationships with Sales Channel leads/Sales Management, Global Relationship Managers, and Portfolio Strategy Consultants.
  • Adopt best practices and adhere to high standards to drive client satisfaction.
  • Assist the Channel Marketing team with other strategic initiatives and special projects.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute Intermediary channel marketing initiatives, managing client expectations through ongoing communication to all stakeholders regarding strategy, status and results.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $115,000 and $130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
