Qualifications

• Experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
• Strong chairside skills and patient interaction.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside dental assisting during general dentistry procedures.
• Perform four-handed dentistry and support the dentist during examinations and treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment and materials.
• Take dental X-rays and radiographs as permitted by state law.
• Maintain infection-control standards and sterilize instruments.
• Assist with restorative, surgical and emergency procedures.
• Document clinical information in the practice management system.
• Support efficient patient flow and daily office operations.
• Provide excellent patient service and care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and safety requirements.
