Job summary

AGB Search is conducting a nationwide search for a Chair for the Department of Neurosciences at the University of South Dakota's Sanford School of Medicine in Sioux Falls. The ideal candidate is a board-certified neurologist with significant leadership experience and a commitment to both rural and urban patient care. This individual will lead a diverse faculty and advance educational programs, working collaboratively with students and residents to promote holistic healthcare. An advanced degree and at least eight years of clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years of clinical experience.
• Regionally and/or nationally recognized achievement in clinical, educational, and/or scholarly pursuits.
• Able to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and residents.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Chair of the Department of Neurosciences at the SSOM.
• Advance the department's mission in both rural and urban areas.
• Work effectively with colleagues throughout the state.
