Job summary

The Department of Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA invites applications for the Chair to lead clinical care, education, and research at a top-tier academic medical center. The Chair will advance strategic initiatives, foster mentorship, and supervise operations within UCLA Health System and DGSOM.

The ideal candidate is a distinguished Otolaryngologist–Head & Neck Surgeon with an outstanding record in clinical care, research, and education, and a commitment to inclusion and community engagement.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree and California medical licensure eligibility.
• Eligible for associate or full professorship at UCLA DGSOM.
• Board certification in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and collaborative vision.
• Evidence of excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Department of Head and Neck Surgery.
• Advance clinical care, education, research and community engagement.
• Oversee operations, financial management, staffing and partnerships.
• Recruit and develop clinician-scientists while fostering a collaborative culture.
