Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a cleaning specialist to ensure microbial control in manufacturing areas. Responsibilities include following cGMP guidelines, documenting procedures, preparing cleaning solutions, and operating various cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend written information to include quality documents and safety guidelines.
• Must be able to write legibly in English and complete accurate records.
• Must be able to operate a computer to complete required training and documentation.
• Must have the ability to learn and perform cleaning techniques to meet regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Must be able to perform all cleaning specialist functions.

Responsibilities

• Performs cross contamination cleaning in areas requiring microbial control.
• Completes cGMP documentation of training or cleaning on paper and electronic devices.
• Prepares cleaning solutions per cGMP instructions.
• Performs microbial control cleaning on walls, ceilings and floors.
• Completes preventive maintenance work orders to meet cGMP cleaning requirements.
• Follows gowning procedures and cGMP entry/exit for controlled environments.
• Operates cleaning equipment (bailing, compacting, handheld, walk-behind, ride-on).
• Performs safety and preventive maintenance inspections on equipment and PPE.
