Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy in Corona, CA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our expanding outpatient team. You will deliver 1:1 family-centered therapy and develop treatment plans with physicians and school teams in a warm, collaborative setting.

• Clear Livescan background check.
• TB test required.
• CPR Healthcare Provider Card required.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered speech therapy assessments and treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
• Deliver 1:1 patient care and support functional goals for the patient and family.

• Document patient care in charts and records, maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and other health care staff.
• Participate in IEP planning as part of a comprehensive education plan.

CF - SLP Job Duties include:

A CF - SLP delivers excellent family-centered patient care, that aims to support functional goals and needs of the patient and their family. SLPs perform assessments and interpretation of evaluations and test results; determines speech therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription, and carries out a treatment plan that supports functional improvement across the lifespan.

• Provide quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determine speech therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
• Help patient accomplish goals outlined in treatment plan and effective use of therapeutic devices and strategies.
• Complete discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records, according to the law.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect clinic operations by keeping information confidential, according to the law.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Develop speech therapy staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Participate effectively as a member of the IEP team, but provide these services as part of a comprehensive education plan and in accordance with the written IEP, as needed.

Compensation Based on Experience: $$83,200.00
