Post Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CFY) for a full-time position at Medford MultiCare Long Island in Medford, NY. The role offers supervision, a supportive team, and opportunities to work with adults in a skilled nursing setting.

Starting pay is $33 per hour with a raise after 9 months; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), CEU reimbursement, parental leave, disability insurance, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Eligibility to begin a clinical fellowship and obtain New York authorization before providing services.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Interest in adult and geriatric rehabilitation.
• New graduates seeking their CFY are welcome to apply.

Responsabilités

• Participate in assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing under supervision.
• Develop individualized treatment goals reflecting residents' abilities and care needs.
• Provide supervised therapy addressing communication, memory, attention, and functional problem-solving.
• Support swallowing assessment and treatment with nursing and dietary staff.
• Help residents and caregivers use strategies during conversations, meals, and daily routines.
• Document services and progress with regular feedback to strengthen clinical skills.
