Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to complete the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision. The CFY will gain hands-on experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent per NYSED regulations.
• Limited license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in NYS (Provisional TSSLD may be required).

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts speech-language pathology services in multiple settings within the organization.
• Performs comprehensive evaluations, interprets findings, and develops individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Implements evidence-based treatments for speech, voice, language, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Provides education to patients, caregivers, and families to support therapy goals.
• Monitors progress, adjusts plans as needed, and documents evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and effective treatment.
