Job summary

CAPTRUST in Alexandria, VA is seeking a CFP Wealth Advisor to meet with qualified prospects, assess goals, build a financial plan, and present initial recommendations. After engagement, the relationship moves to a Wealth Manager, with opportunities to speak at events for prospects.

You will educate clients, develop relationships, and collaborate with the Wealth Management Team to ensure smooth handoffs while maintaining an active schedule of prospect meetings and seminars.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of wealth management experience.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • Professional license/certification required (65,6,7) or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Educate prospective clients on CAPTRUST benefits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and centers of influence.
  • Learn and execute CAPTRUST’s financial planning process with qualified prospects, providing sound recommendations to clients in support of their values, goals, and investment objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth clients, including data gathering and analysis.
  • Work closely with the Wealth Management Team to ensure a seamless hand-off.
  • Speak at educational seminars and answer attendee questions following the seminars.
  • Manage calendar to ensure availability for prospect meetings and schedule own meetings.
