Riverdale Y, a community and cultural center in the Bronx, seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead the agency's financial strategy and operations. The CFO reports to the CEO, directing the finance team and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, audits, and donor financial management.

The role partners with the leadership team to sustain programs and growth, ensuring sound financial practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• CPA or MBA required.
• 7-10 years of experience in financial management, including 3+ years in a CFO or equivalent role.
• Proven ability to manage a team.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and develop programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Lead the Finance Department (team of 4) and coordinate with the CEO, leadership, and Board.
• Develop rolling 3- to 5-year financial models and capital strategies.
• Ensure annual forecasting, budgeting, and donor investment oversight.
