Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in Atlanta is seeking a Summer 2027 CFO Advisory Intern to support accounting advisory engagements and learn through real client situations.

You will work 32–40 hours per week, gain exposure to events, transactions, policy issues, and data analytics while developing professional skills, pursuing CPA goals, and building client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Interest in obtaining a CPA is preferred.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to pursue professional designations.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting advisory engagements and client projects.
• Learn accounting advisory through coursework in real client situations.
• Support project quality control and client engagements from start to finish.
• Develop client relationships and understand client needs to achieve engagement objectives.
• Assist with IFRS/US GAAP conversions, revenue recognition and related analyses.
