Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks an Accounting Advisory Staff to support accounting advisory engagements, apply coursework to client situations, and help with project quality control from planning through deliverables. You will build client relationships to achieve engagement objectives and provide process recommendations.

The role targets a senior pursuing an accounting degree, with CPA consideration preferred, and a strong interest in technical accounting and BI.

Qualifications

• Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Pursuing a CPA is preferred.
• Curiosity about business operations and the impact of accounting systems.
• Interest in technical accounting and business intelligence.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting advisory engagements, addressing events, transactions, and policies.
• Learn through coursework and real client situations.
• Assist with project quality control and engagement deliverables from planning to completion.
• Develop relationships with client personnel to accomplish objectives.
• Provide recommendations on accounting processes and procedures.
• Support engagements such as M&As, restatements, carve-outs, data analytics.
