Job summary

TALENT SHIFT, LLC seeks an Interim CFO for a project-based assignment in Orem, Utah, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead all finance activities, ensuring continuity of reporting, planning, and financial operations.

Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, lender communications, and actionable insights for executives. 7+ years of relevant experience and US residency are required.

Job description

Overview

We are looking for an Interim CFO for our client on a project basis. This role is hyrbid out of Orem, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Lead all finance activities during the interim period, ensuring continuity of reporting, planning, and financial operations.
• Own forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and recovery plan tracking.
• Oversee lender reporting, covenant compliance, leverage reporting, and monthly lender communications.
• Provide actionable financial insights to executive leadership, sponsors, and board stakeholders.
• Monitor liquidity, funding requirements, and business performance against recovery objectives.
• Partner with the controller and accounting team to ensure timely close, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Track the financial impact of marketing and operational improvement initiatives on revenue and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• Prior experience working with HVAC, plumbing, home services, or other field-service organizations is highly preferred, including exposure to multi-location operations, service-driven revenue models, and the key financial and operational drivers of those businesses.
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
