Financial Additions is partnering with a well-established Texas banking client to recruit an experienced Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will lead the bank's accounting, finance, and regulatory reporting functions while partnering with theBoard and executive team to drive financial performance, liquidity, capital strategy, and long-term growth.

Ideal candidate will have a track record of strategic oversight, staff development, and strong communication with regulators and the board.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and the Board.
• Oversee liquidity, capital planning, ALCO analysis, and balance-sheet strategy.
• Monitor performance with profitability and risk analyses; ensure controls.

Financial Additions is partnering with a well-established Texas banking client seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team.

The CFO will provide strategic and operational leadership across the bank's accounting and finance functions while partnering closely with executive leadership and the Board on financial performance, growth, liquidity, capital, and long-term strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bank's accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial-planning functions.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and the Board.
• Oversee liquidity, capital planning, ALCO-related financial analysis, and balance-sheet strategy.
• Monitor financial performance and provide meaningful analysis of profitability, trends, and risk.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure accurate regulatory and financial reporting.
• Partner with auditors, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
• Evaluate financial implications of growth initiatives and strategic opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting/finance team.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive accounting and finance leadership experience within banking.
• Strong understanding of bank financial statements, regulatory reporting, liquidity, capital, and balance-sheet management.
• Previous CFO, Controller, or senior financial leadership experience within a bank required..
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong executive communication and leadership skills.
