Job summary

PhysicsX Ltd. is building an AI-driven simulation software stack for engineering and manufacturing. The CFD Engineer (Delivery) will create practical CAE models and integrate them into AI-tools, often on-site with customers in NYC.

You will work with data scientists and ML engineers to deliver high-fidelity simulations, and contribute to automation and DoE studies while travelling for customer engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• Growing foundation in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and multiphase modelling.
• Experience with at least one CFD package (Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM or Fluent).
• Coding in Python or Java or ability to pick up new tools quickly.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Build CFD models from geometry cleanup to post-processing for simple to moderately complex cases.
• Contribute to simulation pipeline automation for DoE studies and design optimisation.
• Support customer-facing work by presenting results clearly under guidance, with growth toward independence.
• Work with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to generate simulation datasets for training.
