Job summary

Krazan & Associates, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team. The role involves visual and nondestructive inspections of welded joints, verification of welder qualifications, and monitoring field welding activities.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of structural welding inspection experience, strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to work outdoors and lift up to 75 lbs. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Must have AWSCertifiedWeldingInspector (CWI) or ICC Welding Inspector certification.
Minimum 1 year of experience in structural welding inspection.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented with ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and nondestructive inspections of welded joints per AWS, ICC and standards.
Verify welder qualifications and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
Monitor field welding activities and ensure project requirements are met.
Document inspection results, generate reports, and maintain records.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of welding codes, materials and inspection techniques.
