TEAM is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code-compliance inspections on welded components and assemblies. The successful candidate will verify weld quality through visual inspection and nondestructive examination coordination, ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, and support client QA/QC programs across field and shop environments. This role demands a strong knowledge of welding practices, inspection techniques, and documentation processes to support safety-critical operations.
Specific Credentials/Certifications being Sought include:
API 510, API 570, API 653, AWS CWI, AMPP
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Technical Degree or Military Experience a Plus)
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening background check.
Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
Familiarity with code books and standards: AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, B31.3, API 1104, and others relevant to scope.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to generate accurate reports and interface with multi-level stakeholders.
Ability to travel, work extended hours, and operate in field environments including confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather.
Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
