What are we looking for?

The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is responsible for performing inspections on welded components using various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods to ensure compliance with codes, customer specifications, and quality standards. This position will travel at least 5% of the time.

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $45-$55 pe r hour based on relevant experience. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you’ll do:

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 3–5+ years of welding inspection or NDT experience.
• AWS CWI (ICC) or equivalent required (CWE, SCWI, CSWIP, API 510/570/653 a plus).
• ASNT Level II or III certification in relevant methods.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work in field and shop environments, including confined spaces and heights.
