We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector/CWI to perform accurate and thorough weld inspections across diverse field projects while also supporting training and development initiatives within the organization. This role demands exceptional technical expertise, documentation accuracy, adaptability, and communication skills to effectively ensure weld quality, regulatory compliance, and the transfer of knowledge to junior inspectors and welders. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of weld quality across field projects, ensuring compliance with AWS codes and client specifications, and providing training that strengthens the skills of both inspectors and welders.

The Experience We’re Looking For:

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential.
• 3–5 years of weld inspection experience, beyond entry-level.
• Proficiency in weld inspection and documentation.
• Strong reporting and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and welding procedure specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently under a dual-supervisory structure.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a strong customer focus and the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision‑making skills, demonstrating a capacity for managing multiple priorities and driving project success.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the continental USA, reflecting flexibility and commitment to project needs.
• Ability to successfully complete a stringent drug screening and background check, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies.
