Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation’s JLG welding team is seeking a skilled welder to fabricate, assemble, and weld parts across multiple production lines. You will operate welding equipment, read blueprints, set machines, and ensure high-quality results while maintaining a safe work environment.

Ideal candidates have welding certification and at least one year of manufacturing welding experience, with the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Welding certification from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pass and maintain certification through the Welder Qualification Test.
• Operate overhead cranes to safely position parts for welding.
• Adjust machine settings for proper weld configurations.
• Clean finished welds using grinders and brushes.
• Heat, form and weld metal parts in multiple positions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Assemble and weld metal components with precision.
• Cross-train and work across production areas as needed.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Adhere to safety and 6S procedures.
