A local automotive dealership in Arlington is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will examine and diagnose vehicles, communicate needs with service advisors, and mentor trainees. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with relevant certifications. A strong work ethic and solid diagnostic skills are essential. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training.
• Operator Driver's License & State Inspection License.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles.
• Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor.
• Communicate additional service requests to the service advisor.
• Plan work in cooperation with the shop foreman.
• Provide labor estimates to the service advisor.
• Monitor repair time and update the service advisor.
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies.
• Complete documentation for client repairs.
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees.
• Attend company and factory training.
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations.
