Mission Pet Health in Appleton, WI, is seeking an Urgent Care Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our small animal practice. You will work under veterinarian supervision in triage, stabilization, and critical care, ensuring high-quality, compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate is an AVMA-accredited veterinary technician with a current state license, proficient in emergency procedures and anesthesia monitoring, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license in good standing.
• Strong emergency, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing skills.
• 1 year of veterinary experience preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be a Lifeline for Patients in Crisis: triage, stabilization, patient monitoring, and critical care under veterinarian supervision.
• Provide Clarity in Critical Moments: clearly explain treatments, review discharge instructions, and reassure pet owners.
• Lead and Elevate Your Team: guide and support colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.
• Ensure Seamless Care: accurate record-keeping for patient handoffs, case management, and effective team communication.
