Badger Veterinary Hospital Cambridge, part of PetVet Care Centers, is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team in Cambridge, Wisconsin. Join us in delivering compassionate care and supporting hospital operations with exceptional service to patients and clients.

You'll perform exams, assist during surgery, manage nursing care, and maintain medical records. A sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 is offered based on experience, with a Monday-Thursday schedule and potential Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Active Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Assist during surgery and operations, provide nursing care, and maintain patient records.
• Maintain medical records by documenting conditions, reactions, and changes; update the database.
• Handle medications, vaccines, and controlled substances with proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and humane environment; sterilize and wrap instruments; ensure equipment readiness.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and plan of care.
