Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness Center in Trinity, Florida, is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join a multi-doctor practice. You will provide skilled nursing care, assist with exams, diagnostics, and patient care, and help maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Certified Vet Tech with eligibility to be licensed.
• Experience is helpful but not required for newly licensed individuals.

• Comfort with preventative care, surgical flow, diagnostics, and hospital teamwork.
• Arrive ready for a fast-paced day and bring kindness to each interaction.
• Some Saturday morning availability; Sundays closed for work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for medical, hospitalized, surgical, and wellness patients.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatment plans, and client communication.
• Perform safe, low-stress restraint and triage incoming patients.
• Collect and process blood, urine, fecal, skin, and other laboratory samples.
• Capture digital radiographs and support dental radiology when needed.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia with accuracy and care.
• Administer medications and treatments while maintaining clear medical records.
• Educate clients so they feel confident caring for their pets at home.

• At least one year of professional experience is helpful, but not required for newly licensed individuals.

• Comfort with preventative care, surgical flow, diagnostics, and hospital teamwork.
