Job summary

VCA Russell Animal Hospital in Concord, NH is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will support doctors with exams, radiology, laboratory work and patient care in a AAHA-accredited hospital with a history of excellence.

Qualifications

• CVT licensure or eligibility is required.
• Full-time position with weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and catheter placement as needed.
• Assist doctors with physical examinations and patient assessment.
• Perform radiology procedures as directed.
• Conduct laboratory work to support patient care and diagnostics.
• Support pharmacy operations and medication handling.
• Aid in patient recovery and monitoring of hospitalized animals.
• Provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our VCA Russell Animal Hospital team, here in Concord, NH. VCA Russell Animal Hospital is a 4-doctor practice that has been AAHA accredited for over 75 years. It is centrally located an hour away from the mountains and the seacoast.

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care— with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

Compensation: $22 - $27 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status

Schedule: Full time, Weekend rotation required.
