Job summary

Chambersburg Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our growing practice. You’ll support veterinarians and technicians, assist with exams, restrain patients, and prepare treatment areas in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in providing exceptional care to our patients while supporting our veterinarians and technicians. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with patient care and restraint during examinations and procedures
• Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining hospital equipment
• Assisting with laboratory samples, radiographs, and treatments as directed
• Communicating professionally and compassionately with clients
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital
