Job summary

Toyota of Cedar Park is seeking a Certified Toyota Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, diagnostics and warranty work with strong Toyota brand knowledge. The technician ensures safe, efficient service in line with dealership processes, communicates clearly with service staff, and maintains all tools and equipment.

Duties include multipoint inspections, safety compliance, accurate documentation of findings for service advisors, and ongoing training to stay current with factory

Qualifications

• Must have prior Toyota brand Technician experience.
• ASE Certifications.
• Certified to perform state inspections.
• 4 years clear driving record; no DUI or moving violations.
• Valid driver's license.
• No criminal background history.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Conducts multipoint inspections and video inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed maintenance services and repairs.
• Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by the dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Uses and maintains dealership-provided equipment in proper operating conditions.
• Documents inspection findings and maintenance requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the service advisor/ASM or Shop Foreman.
• Communicates proactively with other associates to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work throughout the shop.
• Quality checks own work and the work of other Technicians as requested.
• Stays up to date with all manufacturer and dealership required training.
