Keys Auto Center, a division of the Warren Henry Auto Group, is hiring a Certified Ford Technician in Florida. Relocation assistance and competitive pay are available. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, with specialization in certain areas, and requires ASE certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction and information.
• Ability to use a computer to search for bulletins or technical information.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair work as outlined on repair orders such as oil changes, tune-ups, fluid checks/replacements, and tire rotations to dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses causes of malfunctions and performs repairs using testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examines vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is needed or recommended using checklists.
• Communicates with service advisor and customers about additional work or time estimates; documents all work performed.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to test technician.
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training and stays abreast of technical bulletins.
• Supervises apprentice technicians as assigned and reports safety issues.
• Keeps shop area neat and clean and maintains tools.
