Job Location: Boston, MA 02108 | Education Level: 4 Year Degree | Salary Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Overview

For more than 26 years, we have provided on‑site educational services in hospitals, helping these school‑age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress. You will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school‑age patients at any one time.

Position entails a 40‑hour a week commitment, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. You will also receive a very generous package of paid time off including vacation, sick time, federal holidays, and paid school breaks.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• MA state teaching license
• Comfortable working with students K‑12
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable transportation
