You will act as a scrub person and be responsible for the cleaning and preparation of surgical instruments. Ideal candidates should be graduates of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program with relevant certification. Qualifications

• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment.
• Prior experience in a surgical environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning and preparation of the room.

Skills

Experience as a Surgical Technologist

Ability to function as a scrub person

Knowledge of sterilization protocols

Education

High School Graduate or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
