Job summary

IHA in Ontario, Oregon is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for our Main Operating Room. The role supports surgeons and nurses by preparing ORs, sterilizing equipment, and assisting during procedures to maintain a sterile field and patient safety.

This full-time, day-shift position requires CST or TS-C certification and BLS at hire; one year scrub experience is preferred. Benefits begin Day 1, with potential sign-on incentives, relocation stipends, shift differentials, and generous

Qualifications

• Certification as CST by NBSTSA or TS-C by NCCT is required.
• BLS certification required at hire (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu).
• One year of scrub experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to care for all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric) as applicable.
• Maintains aseptic technique and hospital safety policies.
• Assists during surgeries and gowns/gloves team members.
• Performs equipment checks and ensures proper functioning.
• Manages counts for instruments, sponges and sharps.
• Sets up operating room and prepares surgeon preference cards.
