Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist to assist with pre-operative patient care and surgical procedures in Texarkana, Texas. Candidates are expected to maintain a sterile environment, provide patient support, and demonstrate proficiency in using surgical instruments.

A high school diploma and completion of a surgical technology or accredited LVN/LPN program are necessary. The role requires BLS certification and at least 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN License required within 180 days of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients.
• Maintains aseptic techniques and monitors surgical environment.
• Positions patients and transports them to/from the Operating Room.
• Establishes and maintains the sterile field during surgery.
