Job summary

SCA Health Florida is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our operating room team. You will scrub, prepare instruments, assist with room turnover, and support perioperative care across procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma, formal CST program, and BLS certification within 90 days. Prior CST experience is preferred. This role offers competitive hourly pay between $20.00 and $33.00 and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of Surgical Technologist Program

Current Surgical Technologist certification

BLS Certification (within 90 days)
