Job summary

At SCA Health in New Jersey, we are hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). You will function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures and help prepare instruments for processing.

Qualifications include High School Graduate or equivalent, graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program, prior CST experience preferred, current CST certification preferred, and successful completion of a BLS course within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist Program.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Prior CST experience preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and preparation of the room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
