Zusammenfassung

Indiana Specialty Surgery Center, a USPI affiliate, is seeking a PRN Certified Surgical Technologist to join our ambulatory surgical team. The CST will scrub for procedures, maintain sterile fields, and support staff and physicians to ensure a safe, efficient patient experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a Surgical Technician program credential, certification, and excellent teamwork and communication skills to adapt to changing patient conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Certification in Surgical Technology.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient management.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Certified Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech at Indiana Specialty Surgery Center

The Certified Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification in Surgical Technology
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
