Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center in Celina, TX is seeking a Surgical Technician I to join a highly technical, fast-paced team. You will ensure instrument sets and supplies are ready, assist the surgeon, and prep the operating room for each case.

The role requires CST certification, graduation from a surgical technology program or equivalent training, and a minimum year of experience. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program, military trained, or AD in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• 1 year or more prior experience and must have worked as a Surgical Technologist prior to 09/01/2009 (if not a graduate of a Surgical Technology Program).

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Surgical Technician I understands the procedure being performed and assures that all equipment, instrumentation, and supplies are available for the case. Articulates the needs of the surgeon. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Participates in setting up and turning over the operating room for cases.

Your Job Requirements
