Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care support and assist in the OR under RN direction.
• Assist in sterile field setup, instruments, and turnover between cases.
• Stock and restock supplies in the LDRP and related areas.
• Assist with turnover of labor rooms and cleaning of equipment.
• Support nursing care under RN supervision in the LDRP.
• Demonstrate aseptic principles in all procedures.
• Prepare and organize materials for pediatric, neonatal, and adult cases.
• Check and maintain specialty equipment as assigned.
• Operate equipment safely per manufacturer specifications.
• Contribute to case breakdown procedures to minimize downtime.
• Demonstrate basic clinical and technical skills per standards.
• Perform desk duties such as phones, paging, and greeting patients.
• Adhere to safety procedures with hazardous materials and bloodborne pathogens.
• Follow OR dress code and department policies.
• Meet performance expectations for customer service and teamwork.
• Perform other duties to ensure smooth department operation.
