Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking an Operating Room Tech to prep sterile supplies and instruments for surgeries, maintain a sterile field, and assist the surgeon with instruments during procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, ORT training or 3+ years surgical experience, and a current BLS certificate. This is a night shift position at Central Maine Medical Center with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for new hires
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred)
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties (GYN, General, Plastics)
• Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty surgical areas (ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro., etc.)
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained

2. Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred).

4. Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro. Etc.).

5. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $26.56 to $30.31 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
